The Vietnam Airlines -Run For Love 2024 Half Marathon has returned and is one of the increasingly growing grassroots running competitions, attracting thousands of athletes and sports fans inside and outside of VNA's staff in recent years.

Location: West Lake, Hanoi

Participants:

• Group 1: Runners participating are officers, employees, family members, friends, and partners of Vietnam Airlines.
• Group 2: Runners and amateur clubs in Hanoi.

Number of participants: 1,500 to 2,500 people

Inspired by the goal of creating a vibrant and healthy sports environment, Vietnam Airlines aims to promote and spread positive human values. A part of revenue will be dedicated to preserving and enhancing the heritage and culture of Hanoi; supporting charitable programs for people in particularly difficult circumstances; and encouraging collective efforts to reduce waste and maintain a clean and green environment in Hanoi.

In 2024, alongside the Dragon Boat Race on West Lake, the Vietnam Airlines - Run For Love 2024 race is proud to be recognized by Hanoi as one of the cultural and sports activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the capital's liberation.

Vietnam Airlines - Run For Love 2024 is committed to supporting visually impaired runners, ensuring they can participate in the race and have a positive experience. These runners will be guided by official race runners. This initiative will generate positive media impact while fostering a compassionate sports environment. It also provides runners with the opportunity to come together in support of visually impaired individuals, helping them integrate into the community and achieve their goals.

The organizers are dedicated to making the event a success and drawing the community’s attention, with the goal of establishing it as an annual event in Hanoi that spreads positive and humane values.

The Vietnam Airlines - Run for Love is organized by DHA Vietnam, the creator of the Heritage Race series and the annual Champion21 system.

Vietnam Airlines - Run For Love 2023

On October 7, 2023, Vietnam Airlines Run For Love took place at West Lake, Hanoi. The race has a profound humanitarian meaning when a part of revenue is used by Vietnam Airlines to carry out charity programs, helping people in especially difficult circumstances.

The best performing runner will receive a prize of free round-trip tickets for international and domestic routes directly operated by Vietnam Airlines.

 

Vietnam Airlines – Run For Love 2022

In honor of the 68th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2022), Vietnam Airlines held the inaugural the Vietnam Airlines – Run for Love for the first time. This event took place alongside the Hanoi Dragon Boat Racing Festival, which was co-hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines.

Marking the company' first foray into organizing a race, the event was held with the media sponsorship of Tien Phong Newspaper. The primary goal of the race was to promote a spirit of physical fitness, resilience, and a passion for endurance sports.

Beyond its athletic focus, the race carried a significant humanitarian mission. All proceeds from ticket sales, totaling 150 million VND, were donated to the Vietnam Children's Fund. Through this initiative, Vietnam Airlines aims to inspire the running community to contribute to meaningful and impactful causes, fostering positive change in society.
